Set amongst 45 acres of gardens and grounds, we offer your party total privacy and freedom to mould your special day to your own individual needs.
The House
The main house boasts a magnificent dining room seating up to 120 for a wedding breakfast and 250 for a finger buffet. A large hall & drawing room perfect for those intimate photos. A library which doubles beautifully as a Bridal Morning Room.
Very large Kitchen with Aga, laundry room, larder and second prep kitchen.
The additional ballroom can seat up to 160, but is best used as room for your civil ceremony and of course dancing! There is an attached bar area and cloakrooms & foyer entrance.
All rooms have immediate access through large French doors to the verandah and gardens.
Bedrooms
The House has 9 large, individually designed en-suite bedrooms, all with free view tv, and towels. Most have views of the valley and some have balconies.
The happy couple will be spoilt for choice with 1 Four Poster room, large King Size rooms with plenty of space to get ready during the morning of your big day, or maybe even enjoy a champagne breakfast on the balcony of your bedroom, with endless views.
A field can be hired for camping too!

With the flexibility to do as you wish throughout your Wedding Weekend you will feel at ease and as if you are having ‘one big house party’! but we are also here to help with those little extras. Here’s a list of suppliers that we recommend.

What does the wedding fee include:
The Hire fee includes exclusive use of the house, gardens, grounds, hot tub and breathtaking views towards Dartmoor and over looking the River Torridge Valley, along with the facility to hold your ceremony inside or outside, all day and evening of your wedding
Food, Drink, Disco & Registrar fees are extra
100 chairs are provided free of charge along with 8 Round / rectangular Dining tables
Ample tables are provided in the ballroom and bar
Kitchens with commercial dishwasher and cold stores ( should you opt not to have our all inclusive wedding package there is a £350 charge for use of kitchen facilities )
